Cancellations and amendments
Should you need to amend a booking we will endeavour to help if at all possible. This will be subject to availability, seasonality and any differences in prices for an amended stay. Should you wish to cancel your stay, we will always endeavour to re-market the accommodation. In the event that we are unable to re-let the entire booking no refund will be issued.
Arrival and departure
Your tents will be available from 4pm on the day of arrival and guests are requested to leave by 10am. If you need to arrive outside these times, please give us a call. We ask that tents are left tidy on departure and that all dishes in the kitchen are clean and your rubbish / recycling is placed in our main bins.
Dogs
Due to the positioning of the site next to the farm, dogs are not permitted.
Guests
Facilities are for registered guests only. Please let us know if you intend to have visitors.
Group bookings
We reserve the right to refuse group bookings. Single sex groups (i.e. Stag or hen parties) must make this explicit in the message box on the booking page.
Additional people
Our tents sleep a maximum of 4 people. Additional guests will be charged at £10 pp/per night. This option is only available in certain circumstances and must be agreed and paid for in advance.
Taking care
Guests must take full responsibility for any children in their party. The site boundaries marked on the map must be adhered to at all times. The very nature of camping in a woodland means that there are hazards to be aware of at all times. Please be careful of your footing over fallen branches, be careful at the edge of the decks, watch out on wooden surfaces as they can be slippery when wet and take care wandering round the site at night. Every effort has been made to ensure guests safety but we cannot accept responsibility for any accidental injuries.
Considerations for other guests
All noise to a minimum after 10pm. Noise travels in the countryside and you may be surprised how much can be heard! Communal areas to be kept clean and tidy at all times.
Lost and damaged property
All personal items are your sole responsibility. Please remember the Structures are part of an outdoor camping facility which are exposed to the weather and natural environment. Valuable items must not be left in the Structures. Lost property is donated to charity after one month if not retrieved. Postage must be paid up front for any goods returned by mail.
Smoking
Smoking is not permitted in the interiors of any of the tents or buildings. All cigarette butts must go into a bin.
Fireworks and fires
The lighting of fireworks is not permitted on the property at any time. Fires may be lit in the fire pit only. Fires must be kept small and must never be left unattended.
Damages
A security deposit will be taken when your booking is made. This is to cover the costs of any significant damages and/ or breakages to the tents, their contents or the ground, and any extra cleaning costs required. We aim to refund any refundable deposits due within 48 hours of departure. All reasonable steps must be taken to ensure openings are closed in windy conditions and when not in use to avoid damage to the Structures and Equipment. The Hirer must not tamper with or move the Structures or any part of the Equipment and permission must be gained from the Company before suspending anything from the Structures. Lighting, heating, cooking or other gas or similar items should not be used inside the structure.
Rubbish and litter
All rubbish and recycling must be put into the appropriate bin. If litter is left round the site, a surcharge will be taken out of the deposit.
