In conjunction with EJ Ryder, The Burford Farm Project constructed the competition winning cabin design by Miller Kendrick Architects. A truly unique and eye catching design, the CNC cut plywood ribs and sheathing provide both the cabins composite structure and its intriguing internal finish.
The cabin, known as Arthurs Cave, was built at The Burford Farm Project and then transported to Snowdonia as one of 8 winning entries for the Epic Retreats – a partnership between holiday cottage firm Best of Wales, tour operator Cambria Tours and George & Tomos Architects. The project was part funded by the Welsh Government’s Tourism Product Innovation Fund. The cabin will be featured as part of Channel 4’s ‘Cabins in the Wild with Dick Strawbridge’ documentary series, with the first of four episodes aired on Sunday 21st May. The episode featuring Arthur’s Cave will air on Sunday 4th June.
